Spend Time with the Lord

Have you read the entire bible? For most people the answer is no. I find that interesting because for Christians it is the teachings found in the Bible that we are basing our salvation on yet so many of us have never even read the entire book. A survey found that only around 20% of Americans have read the entire Bible at least once. I’m sure if you asked some of the people who have never read it why they haven’t they might answer that they do not have the time, but is that really the case? A study found that it takes around 70 hours and 40 minutes to read the entire bible. While that sounds like a lot, it really breaks down easy. If you wanted to read the entire bible in one year you would only have to read it for around 12 minutes per day. Think about that 12 minutes, a typical show on Netflix is 23 minutes, which means if you watched one less show on Netflix per day you could read through the Bible almost twice in one year. I encourage you to take some time today and spend it reading your Bible and in prayer.
