We have several different Ministries here at Bailey Baptist that we would love to see you get involved in.
Have you ever wondered “Why am I here? What is my purpose in life?” Come join us each Sunday morning as we meet in small groups to
discover answers to these and more questions as we study and grow deeper in God’s word. Join a wonderful support group of old and new believers who desire to pray together, learn together, study together, and apply the teachings of God’s word to everyday living. We have classes for all ages from infants to senior adults. We invite you to come and pray, learn, and fellowship with us each Sunday morning at 9:45am. You’ll be glad you did!
Wednesday Night Kids
TeamKID is starting October 14th and it is for Elementary school aged kids. It a great time of Bible study, Bible memorization, games, and snacks. We hope to see your kids Wednesdays at 6:30PM.
Women on Mission
Women on Mission (WOM) is an integral part of Bailey Baptist Church in which women embrace the strategic role of prayer and giving for missionaries and mission needs. The mission of WOM “is to inform and inspire Christians to influence their world for Christ.” WOM meets the first Monday night of each month to plan activities which support mission work locally, statewide, nationally and internationally. A focal point of each meeting centers on learning about the activities of a particular missionary or missionary family currently on the mission field. All women of BBC are welcomed to join and participate in this group.
The 2019-20 watchword of WOM is “My dear friends, stand firm and don’t be shaken. Always keep busy working for the Lord. You know that everything you do for him is worthwhile.” (1 Cor. 15:58 CEV)
The Music Team at Bailey Baptist Church plans and prepares all music for weekly worship services – congregational songs, choir specials and cantatas. The choir is made up of any one over the age of 13 who loves to sing praises to our Heavenly Father. Knowing that singing allows a part of our hearts to speak to God in a way that doesn’t happen as we hear the spoken word, the music team tries to plan music that is meaningful to all members. To that end, the team works diligently to incorporate both traditional and contemporary music in each service.
As Psalm 100 says, we are to:
We offer Sunday School classes where students will be able to get to interact with others who are in their same age group. We encourage our students to attend our regular worship service so that they can see and experience different generations coming together to worship God in a corporate setting. We are looking forward to taking our students (7th-12th grade) to a fall retreat at Fort Caswell this November. We are also in the planning stages of hosting a winter VBS during this school years Christmas break. We would love to have your student come be apart.
