A small church with a big heart
We come from all walks of life, and our desire is simple: to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in a deeper way, and to help others do the same.
Our mission is to reach every home and every heart in our community with the gospel.

Expect a warm greeting in Sunday School and worship — our church feels like family, because that's what we are. Business casual or jeans and a t-shirt: come as you are.

How we worship
Blended worship — traditional hymns and contemporary praise side by side, a choir special most weeks, and Children's Church for preschool through 5th grade.

Our Story
Rooted in Bailey since 1909
Bailey Baptist Church was organized on September 26, 1909. The congregation dedicated the present brick sanctuary — with its arched stained-glass windows — on November 11, 1956, and generations have worshiped, been baptized, and served from this corner of Deans Street ever since.
At the church's centennial in 2009, the congregation wove a hundred years of God's faithfulness into a commemorative banner with one line on it:
"100 years — and we have only just begun."
Today that story continues in two languages, as Bailey Baptist and Iglesia Bautista El Camino de Gracia share this house.
